Dear Mummy,
In bewilderment, I whispered to the Lord, "Why did she leave earth so early? Surely, she hadn't completed her assignment on earth." Not really expecting a response, I heard in my spirit, "You were her assignment!"
I can't understand why you faithfully carried me about for nine months in your tummy
I can't understand why your discipline made me so malleable, just like Grummy Gummi
I can't understand why even when you didn't have any, you'd fine some, and that some, you would not take, but give to me
I can't understand why you'd end up staying awake through the night sitting in pitch black darkness in the living room (while we'd be having the time of our lives at Gameland) waiting just for me
I can't understand why you took the time to sit me down to pour counsel (which you were aware I may not fully listen to) into me
It's so lovely to relish the taste of your food which always was so cooked to suit the dimensions and specifications of my tummy
One thing's for sure: you eternally love me! You did your best for me!
Thank you, Mummy!
Your last baby,
Sel!
