Sign up for the BEST JOB in the world!

If you attended NILOM last year, then you must know by now that soul winning is God’s number one job! God wants all men to be saved and you are His vehicle for prosecuting this great agenda!

Now more than ever the Gospel must go out, but how will it go if there aren’t labourers to carry it to the nations? Jesus told His disciples to pray the Lord of the harvest that He would send labourers into His harvest (Matthew 9:38).

On the 30th of June and the 2nd of July, 2018, the Youth Evangelism wing of Calvary Baptist Church (Awoshie) shall hold a 2-day Evangelism Conference. It is aimed at equipping the young and the old to be effective in this glorious ministry of reconciliation!

The following are the speakers scheduled to address pertinent issues concerning reaching out with the Gospel:

Pastor Samuel Fianko

He has an undying passion to reach the lost with the Gospel. He serves as a pastor in Gospel Light International Church. He is the author of Everybody Needs Jesus: The Evangelism Manual and will be teaching on the following:

# The Ministry of Reconciliation

# The Message of Reconciliation

# Tips for Winning a Soul a Day

Minister David Quao

# Intercession: Where the labour is

Elder Jessica Mawuena Debrie

Ever heard of the Dancing Stars? She is an Elder in the First Love Town Church in the UPSA enclave and a Dancing Star! You should see her boogie for the Lord! She is full of the Spirit and pregnant with divine revelation and truth. In the Q & A session on 2nd July, Elder Jessica will answer pertinent questions on evangelism, discipleship and retention. Not only that, she’ll also be sharing from her great wealth of experience as an Elder in First Love Church, and of course, impart the great grace she has received from her Father and Prophet, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills.

You definitely have to be present at this glorious convocation as participants will have firsthand experience of going on an outreach to the Awoshie town and market to proclaim the Gospel on Day 1. On Day 2, you will be afforded the opportunity to ask a panel of young and inspiring soul winners any questions you have about evangelism and follow-up.

Remember, the dates are Saturday, 30th June, 2018 and Monday, 2nd July, 2018at 9:00 am prompt each day.

Chronicles of GLIC Kingdom Cathedral

On 21st February, 2017 during the Kingdom Cathedral midweek service, Pastor Samuel Fianko continued his message on prophecy.

Recapping from the previous week's message, Pastor Sam shared on the two kinds of prophecies and the purpose of prophecies.

He stated that the two kinds of prophecies are:

i) Forth-telling prophecies
This has to do with speaking forth the logos_(the written word of God).

ii) Fore-telling prophecies
This is concerned with telling of future events.

Reading from 1 Corinthians 14:3, he explained that there are three purposes of prophecy viz.:
1. Edification
2. Exhortation
3. Comfort

Pastor Sam then delved into the main message which was 'The Three Realms of the Prophetic'.

He taught on the first two as follows:

1. The Prophecy of Scripture

He stated that the Prophecy of Scripture is infallible, i.e., without errors. The Prophecy of the Scripture is paramount and it's the Word of God. He added that every other prophecy must align with the Prophecy of Scripture.

He admonished the congregation to be child-like and not childish. To be childish means to be immature where as being child-like means trusting and believing. He encouraged us to believe in the Prophecy of the Scripture which is the Word of God.

2.The Spirit of Prophecy

Quoting from 1 Corinthians 2:4, Pastor Sam explained that the Spirit of Prophecy is the atmosphere of the prophetic that is created around someone who is not anointed to be a prophet. Again he spoke of the fact that every born again Christian can operate under the Spirit of Prophecy (Revelation 19:10)

He set forth an instance of the operation of the Spirit of Prophecy in 1 Samuel 19:18-24 and concluded by saying that in our Churches today, when someone prophesies once or twice, the person is loosely called a prophet. However, if the spirit of prophecy comes upon you and causes you to prophesy, it doesn't make you a prophet.

Don't miss tonight's meeting happening at 7:30 pm at GLIC Kingdom Cathedral, Okponglo located in the Benchmark building.

A Read-Y man is a Ready Man

by Minister Stephen Antwi

End each day wiser than you began by investing in books! Your true value is not in how much you spend each day,the clothes you wear or your physical appearance! The information you have in your mind is what tells your true worth! Great leaders are readers!

What you read programmes your mind to think in a certain way.

Interestingly, before God could prosper Joshua, He had to introduce him to book.(Joshua 1:8)

Many times, the test of our wisdom comes when challenges arise and quick solutions are needed!

When faced with a challenge, the first solution that comes to mind is traceable to the information already stored in your mind.

Read the right materials, go for books that address your needs and that of others, and lastly share what you have received with others.

Let there not be a single day that you are out of knowledge. Have the solution at your finger tips. When the information you have becomes too old,you gotta learn, unlearn and relearn!

A READ-Y MAN IS A READY MAN

The Sacrifice is now greater than the judgment

by Minister Stephen Kofi Antwi

2000 years ago there was an exchange! My natural life was supplanted by His! Imagine God performing a nature transplant! Yeah that's exactly what happened! The son of God became the son of man so the sons of men might be made sons of God! Boy what a life!
Elijah called down fire(judgement) from and the fire consumed the sacrifice! But thanks be to God! As Christ (our sacrificial lamb) hang on the cross, though He was made sin, He finally called God Father again!

Cheer up!

The sacrifice is now greater than the judgement!

How can a man bow his head before giving up the ghost! Shouldn't it have been the other way round??? Death didn't use Him,He used death!
Now I am free! Now I'm delivered! Now I am free! Now I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!
Come to him today if you don't know him! He's Jesus for you He has come!
Eternal life without Christ is eternal death!

Jesus-the best Guy you could ever meet!😊😊😊
