Recently, Satan held a conference in which he gathered his demons assigned to destroy the ministries of men of God. Bishop Addae-Mensah obtained first-hand, exclusive footage of the conference and utterly exposed the devices of the devil on Day 3 of the 2018 Pastors' Conclave.
The demons reported one after the other the strategies they used. Excuses stepped forward and said, "I have been causing men of God to find reasons why it is not possible to start a Church in so-and-so location, or why they can't undertake certain projects."
Procrastination came along to talk about his strategy, saying, "I simply harass them to put off for another day what can instantly be done." Procrastination came along with laziness.
Then, lack of vision came along with spiritual blindness and decreased zeal. They altogether frustrate the servant of God leading to blame game, discouragement, despair, anger, persecution, scandals, poverty, false accusation, lust, lies and ultimately rebellion.
Bishop issued a caveat to clergy present to watch out for such enemies. He emphasized that scandals must be dealt with immediately!
He pointed out that the devil is not powerful but he uses devices to deceive and defeat. Adding, Bishop stressed that Church planting and Church growth is a fight. He admonished the clergy to pray, and to use skilful wisdom since the devil was their enemy.
Bishop's concluding message that crowned the 3-day Pastors' Conclave was "How to become an achiever as a minister of the Gospel".
The first and foremost way to become an achiever as a minister of the Gospel is to focus on winning souls. "If you want to be successful, it's not about the car you drive or the house you live in but the souls you bring in," the man of God intimated.
Reading from Luke 15:10, Bishop challenged pastors to let their focus be souls.
He stressed, "Your focus must be saving the lost. It must be your passion. When you stop thinking about people dying and going to hell, your ministry has come to an end."
Bishop challenged pastors present to have Gospel outreaches and disclosed that God will always release money to those willing to save the lost. He further urged the clergy gathered to plan for the outreaches and involve the younger generation. They must be taught how to win souls by observation during the outreaches.
Bishop instructed that each branch should start "Fishers of men" with the aim of outreach and follow-up.
He noted from Judges 3:1-2 that there is a generational gap that must be filled and as such we must invest in the youth so that they know how to win souls.
Bishop taught the clergy to focus on souls first, then the money will come.
He further instructed that Crusade notices must be made available from all branches by February.
Secondly, you must be Church builder-oriented. He charged, "Save money to build for God. Don't waste money on frivolous things. Look for land and build. You don't need money before you build. Don't look for money before you look for a place of worship. By wisdom you shall build- not money."
The man of God taught that this is where you use your faith. He disclosed that Psalm 24:1 should be our prophetic Word for looking for a place.
He assured, "If you focus on building for God, He will build for you. Let your heart be consumed in doing something for God."
The man of God wrapped up with prophetic utterances viz.:
# God will preserve your life (Psalm 27:1-2)
# The Lord will prosper you and your house (Job 36:11).
On that note, a special impartation and anointing session took place where the clergy were anointing with "the oil of fruitfulness".
Bishop instructed the clergy serving under apostles to take an offering to their area apostles, saying, "If you want your ministry to grow, sow seeds to your man of God. Honour your leaders. Ministry doors will open for you."
He challenged, "Be sober, vigilant and do the work of ministry. Do more than what you did last year. Go with fresh might and grace! Stop saying there is no money. Participate in all the programmes (the youth programmes, Gospel Ladies programmes, etc.). Gather your members for the programmes."
All clergy introduced themselves publicly and Bishop once again lauded Rev. Freeman, the best pastor in 2016, announcing that the best branch would receive a new set of musical instruments.
'Twas a blessed night marking new beginnings of fruitfulness in the ministry!
