Basic Things Needed for 2017

In a few hours, a new year would begin and trust me, it won't be long before the devil starts attacking us from all direction.

 

I believe as a fellow worker in the vineyard of the Most High God , it would be very vital to know some basic things we need as we engage the new year.

*#1. Prayer*
Jeremiah 33:3
Its says "*Call to me and I will answer you And i will tell you great  and unsearchable things"*.In warfare, one of the greatest weapons you need is first hand information; information about what your opponent is bringing gives you a much greater advantage. Therefore using the gift of prayer to receive first hand information about the plans of the enemy would benefit us a lot more than we ever imagined.

*#2. Fasting*

Well, one thing Jesus did before he started his ministry is he fasted. It made him weak in the flesh but strong in spirit. So when the devil tried to cause him to sin, his spirit was very strong to resist it. *Fasting in this new year is not a thing to think about , its a thing to do!*. Fasting should be regular in our lives this year.

*#3. The Word*
Psalm 119:11a
*"I have hidden your word in my heart...."*
The word of God is one thing you don't need to let go as you get ready to enter into a new year. A constant dosage of the word in the morning, afternoon and evening would help mould your life and conform it into the image of Christ. Let's take advantage of any Bible app on our phones to gain knowledge to feed our spirit.  Everything we need this year is wrapped up in the  word. Let's go for the word. The word is the only voice we should not let go off as we enter into the new year .

*#4. Tongues Speaking*
I would say it over and over again that, the greatest gift to the supernatural world is the gift of speaking in tongues. In this new year, tongues speaking should be our speciality. *We should speak in tongues till tongues speak us.*
Always speak in tongues this new year and stop the enemy from every direction  in your life. 

Any prophetic declaration on your life would always manifest if you stick with these basic things. Happy New year to you.
