Don't ever keep mute with this Gospel! |
Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace: For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.
Acts 18:9-10
God wants people all over the world to hear about His love for them and experience it. His deepest desire is to see all sinners saved; saved from the Kingdom of darkness and translated to the Kingdom of His Dear Son: 'The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance' (2 Peter 3:9) .
God's will is outlined in His Word. They represent His thoughts which have been clothed with suitable vocabulary to conveniently communicate them to us. God's Word is not only a general message to all folks; it's a personal message to you. Those Words you read in your Bible talk directly to you; they have tremendous impact on your life, personally. Nevertheless, you are supposed to respond to it appropriately, by believing it. Hold on to it tenaciously. Believe every one of those Words on the pages of your Bible so that they jump off the pages and become revelation to you.
Now, God has outlined His desire to have all come to repentance. It is our responsibility to carry out this desire of His in the earth: 'The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD'S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men' (Psalm 115:16). That God has planned to do something does not necessarily mean it will come to pass in the earth. He needs a vehicle to carry it out in the earth. And His choice to do that work is you: 'Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you' (John 15:16). What a wonderful opportunity and privilege! Oh, the joy of it all!
In our theme Scripture, the Lord Jesus appeared to the Apostle Paul in a vision and reassured him that he should continue with the Work of the Ministry. I believe Jesus is speaking this message to every one of His brothers; to get involved in soul winning efforts now more than ever. Jesus is coming soon and we need to present Him with excellent results, for that's why He chose us: 'Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.' (Ephesians 5:16).
Don't keep quiet; keep on preaching the Gospel boldly! Heal the sick, cast out devils, and raise the dead. The power of the Holy Spirit resides in you. However, it will not work until you stir it up. How do you stir it up? By praying fervidly in the Spirit (speaking in tongues). Keep interceding for sinners, for this is your calling. And remember what Jesus said, '... lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.' (Matthew 28:20).
