Not by might nor by power but by My Spirit

I thought to myself, “How do such mammoth crowds gather to hear the words of a man for days without food?”

Again I asked, “How is it that in three years only, He raised up ordinary men and women to carry His Message all around the world?”

Then I had to ask, “How in the world do his teachings impact you to the core of your being, lifting you from despair to heights unimagined?”

I found out that, “It is not by might, it is not by power but by My Spirit,” saith the Lord.

How were the dead raised?

How on earth do you even begin to think of walking on water, of multiplying bread and fish, of touching and healing a leper?

How do you love wicked and rebellious people who are bent on murdering you?

He says, “It is not by might, it is not by power but by My Spirit.”

How do you maintain victory over a defeated foe whose lies are smoother than oil on a duck’s back?

How do you master the elements so much so that you hush the winds at the sigh of a phrase?

Again, “It is not by might, it is not by power but by My Spirit,” He plainly declares.

How is it that the just would die for the unjust, and you would justify the ungodly, ministering the very essence of divinity into those who believe?

Oh! Surely, “It is not by might, it is not by power but by My Spirit,” the Lord says, “He that hath an ear, let Him hear.”
