Here are seven things you should know about familiarity:
# Familiarity means to know someone or something very well and in such a way as to cause you to lose your admiration, respect and sense of awe.
# Familiarity was the cause of Michal's barrenness.
# Familiarity is the greatest block to receiving God's power from God's men.
# The gift of God is neutralized by familiarity, no matter how great it is (Mark 6:1-3,5).
# Miriam, Moses' sister, exhibited familiarity towards him, despite all the great works wrought by him.
# Familiarity carves out a road of ministry for anointed people, such that thy are led towards the non-familiar, the poor, the forgotten and the neglected, and away from their colleagues, friends and family.
