Have you ever been around people who sometimes loosely say, "This my sickness has come back again oo..."? How do you label the circumstances that come your way? Do you say what you see or what you desire to see?
Minister Dennis Agyei Boadi taught on Choices during our special mid-week service last Wednesday.
He elucidated that a choice is the act of making a decision when faced with two or more possibilities. Without options you can't make a choice. He shared on three choices every man/woman makes viz.:
1. *Choose what you feed on*
Reading from Genesis 2:15-17, the man of God noted that food in this context is what you allow into your mind and spirit. You are what you eat.
Continuously feeding on something causes you to start practising it.
Whatever you eat has its consequences. He encouraged us to feed on the Word of God as well as Christian messages and books. He stated that our judgement will be based on the choices we made.
2. *Choose how you label anything that comes your way*
In Genesis 2:19, Adam named each of the animals God brought to him.
How you label/name a situation will determine its outcome. You may not have control over the situation but you have control over it through how you label it. Words are powerful.
Often, we kill our aspirations and dreams with our words. Name situations like you want to see them.
3. *Choose whom you welcome into your life* (Genesis 2:21-23)
Choose your friends; don't allow your friends to choose you. Who you will be depends on the people you associate yourself with. Don't allow just anyone to enter your life.
There are three different kinds of people who come into life viz.:
1. Those who come to subtract
2. Those who come to divide
3. Those who come to multiply
Make the right choices by praying consistently about the choices you make.
