When you study the book of Acts, you will notice that there were two Churches: the Jerusalem Church and the Antioch Church. This week, our seeds will focus on what you must know about the Jerusalem Church and the Antioch Church:
# The first Church was the Jerusalem Church.
# The Jerusalem Church had the most important people, including the apostles.
# Jesus' instruction to go into the entire world was given to them first.
# The Jerusalem Church members prospered greatly.
Neither was there ANY AMONG THEM THAT LACKED: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need. (Acts 4:34-35)
# The Jerusalem Church grew by leaps and bounds.
Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were ADDED UNTO THEM ABOUT THREE THOUSAND SOULS.
(Acts 2:41)
