External appearances seem to be one of the most deceiving features in the universe. It's no wonder that God expressed His heart to the Prophet Samuel, saying, "...The Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart." (1 Samuel 16:7, ESV).
Jesus said that the pure in heart are blessed for they shall see God. What does it take to have a pure heart (Matthew 5:8)? The blood of Christ! (Hebrews 9:14).
You see, it is absolutely impossible to become what you are not by acting like it. The fact that you can swim in a pool does not mean you are trout (koobi)!
I noticed that some models of the Hotwav (a mobile device) look like the iPhone. One can easily be deceived into thinking that a Hotwav is an iPhone but the distinguishing feature is the OS. Whereas Hotwav runs on Android, the iPhone runs on iOS. No matter how close enough a Hotwav looks like an iPhone, it can never possess its functionality.
It's the same way with you- until and unless you receive the cleansing in the Blood of Jesus Christ, you will still remain in your sins and under the wrath of God, even though they were all laid on Jesus!
You cannot change your heart. It is only the Holy Spirit who can transform you into a new creature by regeneration.
He wants to impart eternal life to you today.
Believe in the Name of Jesus and you shall be saved!
One of the things you must recognize if you are already born again is that God searches the inner recesses of our thoughts and hearts.
Your motives are always plain before Him. He is more likely to judge your motives than even your actions, though He judges both of them.
Assess your motives. Why do you read your Bible? Why do you go to Church? Why do you work? Why do you respect certain people? Why are you in that relationship? Why do you give? Why do you help certain people? Why do you post what you post? Why are you taking that step?
Why are you doing what you are doing? Is it for fame or money? Or respectability? Or to glorify God?
I decided a long time ago to do everything in love (1 Corinthians 16:14), in the name of the Lord Jesus (Colossians 3:17), and as unto the Lord (Colossians 3:23)!
That keeps you humble and in check always, under the authority of the Holy Spirit!
