Highlights of the Faith to Fath Covention 2017 (Day 2)

“There are two groups of people here tonight. Those who are in Christ and those who are in Church,” Bishop Titi-Ofei pointed out. He continued, “Those who are in Christ are active in Church. They do not sleep when the sermon is being delivered. They don’t pick up quarrels with others.” Amidst joyous singing and shouting, the man of God led the congregation to rejoice in the Lord!
His message was on “The twelve places that God wants to relocate you to before the end of the year”. He disclosed, “Your location determines your allocation. The place you live or come from will either bring you dignity or disgrace.” He cited the instance of Abraham; God had to relocate him before He could bless him (Genesis 12:1-3). “God created fish to multiply in the sea and trees to grow on earth. Everything created has its place of abundance…where you’re located in the realms of the spirit is very important.”

He managed to scratch the surface of his message by teaching on the first place which is the “firm place.” Reading from Psalm 40:2, which reads, “He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.”, the man of God enunciated that unlike the mud in which you rise and fall, when God place you in the firm place, He establishes you and therefore you don’t rise and fall. He prophesied, “The rise-and-fall story is over from today. It will be rise-and-rise.”

He admonished the congregation to pray that God would lift them from the horrible pit. His ministration was interspersed with moments of intense prophetic declarations and release of prophecy to specific individuals in the congregation, who received establishment in the firm place.

He made it known that the worst thing that can happen to a family is for them not to have a champion. Every family needs one champion to stand. The battle between David and Goliath was not really between the two individuals but between the two nations that they represented- Israel and Philistia.

Bishop Titi-Ofei went on to open our eyes to the reality of destiny carriers. He cited Joseph, Esther, David and Moses as examples of destiny carriers.  Destiny carriers carry the destiny of an entire generation. When you are a destiny carrier, God brings you into a place of influence. That’s why you should not sacrifice the destinies of the many that you are carrying for fleeting pleasure and gratification. Determine to understand your assignment.

Bishop lamented, “The worst thing that can happen to you is for God to give you an assignment only for you to lose it.” He further noted, “You are not a Christian for yourself; you are a Christian for a generation.” He prophesied that people would stand on their feet to conquer their fears and overcome them. He indicated that one’s strength is in the revelation they have about themselves.

He said, “The man who carries other people’s destinies is careful and watchful.”

Joseph’s mantle that was washed in the kid’s blood later became a ruler’s garment. Today, your robe has been washed in the blood of the Lamb and you are now a king/queen!

He concluded by saying, “You must have influence and power to be able to influence people’s lives. The palaces of this earth are opened to you.”

‘Twas a night of standing in the firm place!
