He was broke. He was hungry...and the day had only begun. Tony had his 'last' 5 cedis on him when some little boys playing football approached him on his way to work. They asked him for biscuits. "Today of all days? Hmmm...and I cannot leave these children without giving them biscuits," Tony thought to himself.
So he turned to the vendor in the provision store and bought the biscuits leaving him with change of 1.50 cedis for his 'Koko' and bread.
Tony sold rare African jewellery to tourists at the La Pleasure Beach.
With his shoulders slumped in discouragement, he just looked up and saw this tourist (a white man) beckoning vigorously to him.
The amazing thing was that his competitors were seated and facing the direction of the tourist but they could not see him waving. So Tony went to the man, who asked for the prices of his wares. Tony determined not to blow up this deal, so he just asked the man to pay anything he could for the jewellery.
"How much are they worth?" the man insisted.
Tony then gave the man a price less than he'd sell it under normal circumstances.
The tourist snatched all the jewels from Tony.
Tony could not understand!
Then the tourist handed him $ 300.00 dollars!
Tony was awestruck!
He did not sell again that day! He knew that he knew that he knew that he knew that God was the One who orchestrated such an epic moment in his life!
Tony shared this testimony as he opened up with a resolve to follow the Lord Jesus on 13th January, 2017 after GLICAM's baptism Service.
The Lord restored Him and gave Him hope and renewed strength!
"I want to follow God," he said, broken and ready for the work of God in his life!
I am so glad for such an opportunity God granted me to minister to Tony!
Gloryyyyy!
